Dr. Shaun Riddle received his naturopathic medical training from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. He is both a licensed primary care physician in the state of Washington and a registered Naturopathic Doctor in the province of Alberta, where he has a full-time naturopathic medical practice specializing in the treatment of chronic disease and chronic pain.

As a young man he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, a serious auto-immune disorder affecting his digestive tract. After struggling with conventional medical treatment for several years, he turned to alternative medicine in hopes of treatment that was free of the side effects of his medications.

Since earning his doctorate in naturopathic medicine, Dr. Riddle has focused on developing mentoring relationships with both conventional and alternative medical professionals who are on the cutting edge of chronic disease treatment. This has taken him all over the world in an effort to bring together the most advanced alternative medical treatments to his patients. As a result of both his personal and professional experiences, he has developed a very effective way of treating gastro-intestinal disorders.

In addition to treating chronic illness, Dr. Riddle is the only practitioner in southern Alberta who practices Neurologic Rehabilitation for the treatment of chronic pain. He uses this technique in combination with Regenerative Injection Therapies (Prolotherapy) as a comprehensive approach to treating muscle and joint pain. Both professional and amateur medal-winning athletes regularly use these techniques to improve their performance.

Dr. Riddle is highly committed to ongoing training and education so that he can bring the best options in alternative medicine to his patients in Calgary.
